This is a bit like Toms last post but its my favourite from our stint in the hide at Snettisham, so I thought I would post it. You learn alot about a bloke when you are cramped in a small hide for seven hours which is really designed for one, especially what he had for tea the night before.

I DO like this - a LOT
What grabs me most is the fact that the movement of the knots is still very graphic, but they have some recognisable form - very good strong image Danny

That looks great
Its something like that, which would do very well if it was enter'd in the BPOTY!

I agree with Alan the moment I saw it I thought Wow and then I thought BPOTY.

Hi Danny,
Nice stuff indeed - I've sat in that hide for several hours myself so you and Tom must be close friends
As to the shot, it's all been said - I've done many blurry style movement shots and odd bird in massed flock shots there in the past but never managed to get this combination of stillness and movement in one, at least not from the flock on the closest islet which I assume these to be on.
Still just time for IWBP competition entries if your's isn't already off!
All the best
Mark

I have always been very picky about "arty" shots with creative blur, they need to have all the elements just right to work, this does it in style, and I love that child lost in a crowd appearance that the Grey Plover has, ace work!

Superb! All be said. Love the way that all the knots are heading in one direction... reminds me of me on Oxford Street - totally lost and fighting the crowd!

Hi Danny
Yep, this really works for me. Superb image, perfect combination of still subject and motion blur. Pano crop is spot on too.
