I took this shot of Hale Farm this afternoon, just before it started to rain. You can see that the color is coming along, but we're far from peak. We're expecting a bit of rain tonight, then the forecast is for rain Thu-Sat. That'll be good for the waterfalls and for color saturation in the forests. We aren't expecting a real cold snap in the near-term, so unless we get a lot of wind the color may last for a while.
If conditions are good, I'll head over to Blue Hen Falls in the morning to see what things look like there.
Hope to see some of you in the field this weekend.

I got in tonight.... staying at Bob's. We'll be at the Beaverpond in the AM. I am meeting up with Bob Hitchman for a while in the AM> I'll call your cell. Lots of scouting tomorrow for obvious reasons.
