Grey Tree rat!
I find it odd that Red Squirrels are considered cute! and the imported american cousin/nemesis and there damn POX. However they can and do perform nicely for the camera for the odd nut or two!

So as per the norm any C&C is welcome.

I'd like them in their native country. But yes they can be cute and interesting.

Ive got rats under my shed and am forever trying to kill them. Also got a couple of these tree rats visiting the garden and put food out for them! Strange.

Hi Paul,

Cute and interesting, maybe but also very destructive, a grey gave my pair of Barn Owls a hard time this summer trying to get into the box on more than one occasion, Anyway your image, nice composition and colours in the BG. Not sure if it is a sharpening halo or backlighting around the face

Regards

Classic pose you've captured here!

Re the 'nativeness' of them and how they are frowned upon for being non-native - plenty of creatures in the UK are non-native, but few get such a bad press as the grey sq.
