Hi John
This is not answering your question, but I use www.1and1.co.uk for all my web hosting projects (for me and clients).
Very good, affordable, service, although aimed at people who like to spend too many hours editting HTML.....
Other option is to go with some of the photo gallery orientated hosting services such as SmugMug, Amazing Internet, etc, which removes all of the donkey work of constructing a website.
cheers

Again, not an answer to your question but I use hosthead.com in the US.
Extremly good value for money, dedicated boxes should you want them and they are very efficient.

John, I use Easyspace - they are based up in Scotland - their basic package for £25 per year gives me everything I need although, like 1and1 you have to write the website yourself (or get someone else to do it).
