Slow shutter white pelicans
Taken at Malheur NWR a few weeks ago. Sometimes I'm having to much fun to pack it up when the sun goes down. That's when I try things like this. Slow shutter speed action shots always walk a thin line between "cool sense of motion" and "blurry mess". where does this one fall?
I bumped up the saturation just a tad to get a little of pink sky reflecting in the water.

White pelicans are beautiful, and your lighting and water color are pretty cool. Wish your subject weren't so perfectly centered.

It's a fun idea to focus the bird in flight - blurring the environment, but not easy to pull off. I admit to having attempted it with less success.
