Color that was
A couple days ago while on an errand headed over Snoqualmie to Wenatchee, I came across this little single lane neighborhood road with a wonderful show of color. With breezy conditions, quickly did a drive by shooting and planned to come back this weekend on my day off and hit it during the calm of early morning. I hoped to take time to create a calendar-worthy photo masterpiece. That was before the wind and rain storm.

Mr. Sullivan on Whidby: Perhaps you would be generous enough to load the leaves up and bring them back? I would appreciate a second chance here... At the very least I would like to see a very nice submission from you for the November fall flora autumn leaves category since you have admitted to an exceptional leaf selection.

Hi Janet,
I love shots like this. Makes me want to walk down the path and see what is there. Nice job lining up the pathway too.
Where in Snoqualmie is this?

Nancy, this was a grab shot just to help me remember a point to return to. I did walk quick walk around the corner, more beautiful color with the road going across a little bridge into the woods. Possible frames without the big protruding evergreen on the right too. Funky neighborhood with good possibilities. The location is off West Nelson Siding Road a few miles before CleElum. I was so confident that I would be able to get back within 3 days to take my time with better shooting, that I skipped my immediate opportunity thinking that later would be better. No so this time. grrr... :frown: This time of year ya never know what's coming up weather-wise.

Oh well, I have the luxury to both Friday and Saturday coming for shooting. Not sure where to go. Any great places around Snoqualmie area prime for shooting?
