Well after what has seemed like forever we are finally seeing a light at the end of the tunnel for the opening of our second business location. Club K-9 number two will open on Dec. 1. I don't forsee a large amount of time opening up for me to go shooting to often, although I will be getting in some snowshowing this winter. Our new doggy daycare, boarding, dogwash, and training facility will be twice as big as our first location located in Tigard at 7000 sq. ft. One really cool thing abut this location is that we have a caretaker apartment there on the premises. It'll be in north Portland on Lombard and right next to North Portland Vet Hospital. Here are a few pics of the progress so far. It's starting to get exciting, so I thought I share what was going on.

That's up in my neck of the woods, Jeremy - we leave a couple blocks from U of P. I'll have to take a look next time I drive by North Portland Animal Hospital! You are also very close to our groomer (Zimmers on Lombard), so be sure to stick your head in and introduce yourself to the owner, Kelly Hawthorne. We've been taking dogs there for 18 years.
Are you going to board big dogs? We've got a couple of borzois that need a lot of room in their run. We currently board them at a farm outside of Woodburn, which isn't exactly convenient.
Good luck on your building!

very cool.....Jeremy, just think of it like this.......it's gonna help pay for that 8K 1ds MKlll you might want......
where is your other doggy daycare located and do you treat St. Bernards....Tiny really needs grooming.....and his teeth brushed!

We do have a self-service dog wash with all you need to do it your self. Actual grooming is a bit out of our scope. And yes big dogs are welcome if they are very social, just like the rest of the dogs.

Jeremy,
Being new to Tigard with a bog old Yellow Lab & a nut case young golden retriever, you sound like a guy I need to meet. I'll call you when I get back to Oregon next week!

Hey !! Glad to see it coming together !! We take our dogs to N PDX vet so this is good news.
Congratulations, Jeremy! That's great news, as it sounds like business has been good for you. All of us dog lovers sure need impassioned dedicated people like you. I have a service dog, who gets to go everywhere with me. But one time I had to leave him and was so, SO grateful that he had a good experience.
Thanks for your great photos and for loving our dogs (and yours)!

It may take awhile to be a rich punk. I gotta pick up a lot of dog crap to make this one pay off.

Well done Jeremy. You are well on your way to doggy daycare world domination.

Way to go Jeremy! I wander into North Portland Veterinary Hospital once in awhile, so I'll have to stop in and say hello sometime down the road. I have an interest in advanced dentistry, and Drs. McCoy and Frost have been very gracious and helpful as we've added more dental services to our veterinary hospital. (For those of you in that area, I highly recommend them.) I wish you the best in your new venture.

Thanks John. Don and Melinda McCoy are really awesome and have become great mentors for us. Where is you veterinary hospital at?

I work for VCA Battle Ground Animal Hospital here in Battle Ground. Darren White brings Tiny in to "visit" periodically.
Good to hear & good luck, Jeremy, to have something as nice as this close to me as I live in Irvington (south of Lombard). I don't have a dog (and now I don't have a CAT), but we do see a fair amount of rx's from the hospital...now I'm curious to see what's happening.

Is that a Web Steel building, Jeremy? We used them for our Coffee Co. building and will use them again for our addition.
