Haven't posted a photo in yonks, so here's something I got a couple of months ago in Scotland. Taken a good while after sunset, stood in about 2 feet of swirling sea-water whilst failing to evade many hungry midges...

EOS 5D, 24-105, 32 seconds at f14

C&C appreciated as always.

Cheers.

Very nice and a lovely tranquil, twilight feel to it. Well worth the wet feet I reckon.

Very nice, all the right elements in harmony here. Could perhaps do with a mid tone lift using curves (perhaps not), but the mood and capture are well handled.

Ooooh, I'm now looking at this on my 'usual' computer (it was processed and uploaded from a different PC), and it does look rather 'muddy' and a tad soft...

Might try re-tweaking and re-uploading it!

Thanks for the comments though!

I've tweaked my monitor on the second computer, in the hope of getting it 'acceptable' for image use. Nothing too serious, just for posting images to the web etc. Anyway, does the version below, which has been adjusted following monitor tweaks, look any better? Please let me know what's wrong with it (visually) if it looks weird on your monitor. The re-tweaked one is 'cooler' than the original (colour-wise, I'm not taking street-cred!). You can also tell me what's wrong with the actual photo, too

Cheers!

P.S. I can't for the life of me remember how to get reopst images to display...
