Look what I messed up!
Doh! I took the camera off the tripod about a minute before this as he (fallow stag) walked round behind me about 5m away. Silly really as the light was way to bad for anything good, and then he went right where I wanted him but the camera shake is terrible. Anything bigger than this and it's messy.

I'm going back tonight, and if that doesn't wrk, tomorrow night. If that doesn't work....!

Thats a reall shame as thats a great shot. When looked close i can see a bit of movement with the tree, but i'm sure with some sharpening it should look alright!.

Thanks Alan but it's just too blurred. the stag is messy when it's blown up any bigger too. I've already sharpened it. I'll ask him nicely to go back and stand there, he seemed quite ameniable last night which was the second night in a row he'd been there... fingers crossed hey?!

What a great shame as at this size you can see it would have been a fantastic image!

He was back bang on time and tonight with about 7 females. Sunset not as good but have discovered that adjusting the colour temp in Rawshooter can compensate to a point

Not quite the same pics as yesterday. If the sunset is better tomorrow after work I'll have a final bash at him. I can't post anymore on the forum today but have just put 2 on my website at

http://www.earthinfocus.com/Galleries/galleriesMattUKMammals.htm

if anyone fancies a look.
Cheers
Matt
