fall color update from Richland Creek
I met up with Bill Dark at the Richland Creek Campground and spent Friday afternoon and Saturday morning exploring the area. Bill stayed Saturday night and should have further information to add when he returns.

We agreed that the overall color is about 30% and still green in many areas. The better color seems to be near Falling Water and Richland Creek. It looks like the cooler temps forecast for this week will help things along and next weekend the colors should be better for the gathering.

Here is a link to a few more shots I got this weekend:

Your gallery shots are awesome, Tom. I wanted to go back to that spot down from the campground this afternoon, but had to get back home :frown: .

Glad you made it back OK.

Great work Tom ... and Twilight Glow is spectacular!! I am certainly leaning toward coming down but it will all depend on whether I get over this bug I've had for the last week.

That's really very nice. I enjoyed the gallery, too. You have some really nice images in there. It really is a beautiful place!

Tom you got some nice images at Richland. The color is just running late this year, hopefully the cooler temps will move things along. I hope to make it Friday night if I can.
