Newaygo County on the Muskegon River today, very windy, but a gorgeous fall day nonetheless. That area is pretty much at peak, and colors were very vibrant, but it is also inland from Lake Michigan. Those of us near the lakeshore should hit peak within a week or so.

You captured some vibrant colors Toni! I was beginning to fear that we weren't going to have any color at all this fall. The trees looked beautiful this past week.

Beautiful colors, Toni. We're going to peak in the CVNP this week--our color is finally coming on strong here as well. We fought wind all weekend, but today should be good. We've got rain through the rest of the week.
