Autumn Sunrise over Rose Lake, Hocking Hill SP
I have been in Hocking Hills the past 2 weekends and it was amazing to see the difference in color from Sunday 10/14 to Saturday 10/20. I would estimate the colors went from 15% to 60% in those 6 days. Peak should be here by next weekend if not sooner as long as mother nature cooperates by holding holding off any windstorms.

Nice image.

We were in the area last weekend for an art busines workshop in Nelsonville. I was in class all day Saturday, so I didn't get to take any photos. I'm hoping to make it back this weekend, but I also have a show coming up next week and I have to finish a few more prints.

Kirk,

Get back there with some clouds to enhance the sky---you have a winner here with a little more excitement happening--sky wise!

I agree that this isn't that exciting of an image. I primarily posted it just to show how the colors were coming along. I just returned from the Smokies where the color was good at higher elevations but very late compared to prior years.
