Fall Colors - San Diego Style
I spent last weekend and a couple of days prior in San Diego for my company's annual business meeting. Sun, Sailing, good friends, and lots of good food!

I was able to shoot sunset from Sunset Cliffs on the west side of Point Loma, and the downtown skyline from Coronado Island.

This sunset image is a three exposure blend.

San Diego Skyline at night.
The tide was out and I was shooting from a mud/sand flat. The streak on the right is a landing aircraft.

I've got a couple of panoramas of the skyline that I like but they're narrow (50'x6" @300ppi) so a web version would be too small.

San Diego Skyline - a tighter view

I love the city shots. What a beautiful city. My hometown! Too bad it's a hellish inferno right now. Pray for rain... or at least an end to the Santa Ana winds. :frown:

The second one is great but the horizon is a little crooked.

When I saw the subject of your thread, I thought sure you were gonna post a shot looking through orange fire smoke. Glad you weren't in San D when the fires broke out. Cool shots. I really like the first one, and the first reflection cityscape is too much!

Nice work, Kalin, I really like the first 2 - so different, but both excellent.

Kalin – sweet shots. The skyline and reflection in your second shot are excellent!

Thanks everyone.
Todd, the fires broke out the morning after I left. I have several friends in the county, their homes are safe but things were sketchy. I've been there for these kind of fires before - no fun.
