Here are two images of Blue Hen Falls, CVNP, taken exactly 24 hours apart (slightly different position for obvious reasons). We received about 2 inches of rain starting shortly after the first image was taken. As the flow quiets a bit and a few more leaves fall, this will be a great place to shoot later in the week.
Shots were 15-20 sec @ f/22.

Whats cool about this is that there's still a lot of leaves on the rocks too!!!
I just got back to Oregon and you have to show me this--------- come on Chuck--should I fly back?

Jack, There will always be a place for you here in the CVNP. You could get a couple of days shooting in the Cascades, then be here by the weekend. It's not over here until the horizontal snow flies!
While today's conditions were good, it was a bit crowded down in the creek. There were four of us working around each other in the quickly-fading light. One young guy had driven from Virginia Beach with a 4x6 camera that had its own umbrella!

Just goes to show what a "mere" two inches of rain can do!
