Was working near Liskeard today and decided to drive back across Dartmoor and try a few landscape images. Parked near Cox Tor and had lunch and this guy joined me. Was very partial to biscuits which I was able to hand to him. After he had enough I watched as he walked off found a small hole put the food in it covered it with dead grass and then put a stone on top of that. After that he moved on to the next car. Obviously makes a good living at the car park. This portrait was taken while he was sitting on my wing mirror. Spent two hours with him never did get to take any landscapes.

A fine close-up and one with lots of impact too thanks to the contrast between bird and backdrop. :toast:

Superb CU and as Justin says, the BG provides great contrast :toast:
