I was looking for the awards ceremony & announcements last night...couldn't find them - seems strange to let the bbc & mag publish everything 1st and then run the exhibition a couple of days later....or did I miss something somewhere?

Thanks alot for all the nice comments Guys.
It has been a great couple of days meeting other photographers from around the world. I would like to say a big congrats to Jack for his tern image at such a young age he has a bright future. I would also like to say a big congrats to Ben Osbourne for his winning image he his a really nice chap and it is nice to see a UK winner. Big congrats also to Andy Rouse for his image he is getting images into the final stages every year now which is some going. Dave Tipling got two images in the Birds section with two cracking shots, I really like the Black grouse fighting image very clever, Chris Gomersal was also in that section and he has had alot of winning images over the years which again is some going. Graeme Eatons shot of a mallard under water is also very good and goes to show what you have to do to get a winning shot. Overall I think this years winning images are very strong and if you get the chance go and see the exhibition as the images look alot better in the display cases.
Once again thanks for all the nice comments.

The whole series of water vole images he did was cracking and rightly deserves something for the one above.
Best wishes
