Hey guys, once again long time since I've posted here.

On Tuesday I shot an assignment for Heartland USA magazine about wild caving. I got to crawl around in a cave all day with a true cave expert, Mike Slay with The Nature Conservancy. If you've never shot all day in a wild cave, I highly recommend it. It's great fun and a bit of a challenge. Almost all of the images were far enough in that it was pitch dark!

I found this little guy on the way out and we were able to get a few shots of him. All this is with flash as he was in the dark as well.

Here is a link to a few more of the images, the page may be a little slow to load and please excuse the repetitive captions, those are what I am including for the editor....

Thanks and enjoy!! Hope the colors come on soon!

Glenn, that is an interesting looking character. Great capture.

Now that's some shallow dof Glenn! The diagonal cave floor and horizontal salamander provide an interesting visual challenge. Nicely controlled flash too.
