This is a bit different. It was shot a good bit before the really late sunrise this morning. It was a 30 second exposure. I thought the moon shot as a sunstar made for a surreal image with the passing cars.

That is a neat shot, Mel!

Pretty cool Mel and you get extra points for making it "different"! Couldn't get there this a.m. due to a training session I was presenting at work at 8:00. I will try tomorrow depending on what the weather is doing.

Hi Mel, nice shot. Glad to see a different take on GoG. I ended up tossing all my moon shots, as the timing was simply off between sunrise/moonset. Got some good shots of the peak, though.

That's pretty freaky, Mel--looks like daylight, or maybe using the moon to do a 'light' painting. I like it!

Very nice effect, Mel. I really like the colors in the formations and the sky as well.

Very nice colors and composition Mel. That pre-dawn light is awesome.

The shot was not what I had originally planned. I did a quick test shot while I was setting up and a car passed. When I saw it flash on the LCD, I thought I had something going and actually set up to put this together. I thought it looked like it was daylight, but with cars moving as if it were night and that type of surrealism always catches my attention. The lighting on the image is primarily refracted predawn light, not light from the moon.
