Before our fearless and former leader Rick D heads out to Oregon, I was sent (unofficially) to make sure everything would be in order for him. I decided to take my family and call it a vacation. This made the photography a little more difficult, but I did manage to take a few images. You can find a gallery of new Oregon shots at this link: http://morninglight.us/gallery.php?gallery=oregon. It's all ready for you Rick, now just get that guest room ready because I'm moving in!

SWEET Shots Erik!!!!
I love "Coastal Explosion." Man, I can't wait to get out there next year for our family vacation. But Geez, you are a tough act to follow.
Hopefully the new 5D II will be out by then so I can try it on our trip. Or maybe I should just postpone our trip until the camera comes out.LOL...
I think Rick will have to start a new PNW photo tour business for us RMNP'rs who are looking for the cool places to shoot when we come out west. On the other hand it looks like you didn't have a hard time finding great places to shoot.
I can smell the ocean now. Great job!

What a great collection of images, Eric!
Looks like you didn't leave much for Rick to photograph.

Uhmmm.... let's see the last time I was in RMNP I don't recall seeing any ferns, or sea stars and neither Bear nor Dream nor any other lakes actually produce expoding surf or have light houses near them. OH! You broke out of there! Nice stuff Eric especially the explding surf shots. Makes me miss the coast; but only a little.

Cool stuff! I think the Multnomah Falls stuff (I think that's what it is) is my favorite, but lots of goodies to chose from.

Wow, what a nice collection of images, Erik! Especially like the sunset scenes. Now, are you going to have an "Oregon" section in your Estes Gallery?

Great images! The sunset shots are great! Also really like the waves crashing in.

The tangled stars shot was very cool, but obviously all very nice work.

Very nice sunset you had there, Eric. Also very much enjoy the breaking wave shots. Looks like you had a great time!
Don't know how you're going to sell those at "Images of RMNP", though - you may have to donate them to one of us...
