Classic Columbia River Gorge
today I headed out on a whim and found some good color....

issues with either my camera or my card resulted in me losing about 50 pictures I took today......

I kind of liked this one...

would like your thoughts comments or critiques...thanks!!!

It sure is a classic, Darren, sorry about losing those 50 shots, that's a drag.

sweet DOF here. Very nice fall color shot with good comp and superb blur on the h2o

Glad to see you got out today Darren. I did too, but for yardwork, so much fun, not! Anyway, this is a nice image. Perfect job on the color and exposure. Sucks about losing 50 photos but I can share stories that I have had worse if it makes you feel any better!

Works for me - water could be a tad less grey. Sorry to hear about the loss - hope it doesn't happen again or if you can figure out what caused it so it doesn't happen again.

Darren, pretty decent comp and I like the sharpness. Still, Its hard to lift my skirt over mossy stream shots anymore.

Nice shot. The composition looks familiar. I like the inclusion of the leaves for color, although the way the creek narrows at that point takes away from the feeling of it filling the screen coming at you.
