Scissortail Sergeant
(Abudefduf sexfasciatus) One of the first shots I've processed from my trip to the Red Sea last week. Spent a wonderful week snorkeling and I'm already planning on returning next year as it was so good. All I had with me was a Canon Ixus P&S (no real manual control apart from WB and ISO) in a Canon waterproof housing which all worked quite well but next time I'll definately be getting a housing for my 30D and hopefully have taken a dive course. The Ixus was ok but the focusing was very hit and miss and what with constantly moving fish and me bobbing up and down it was very frustrating at times  But of course all extremely enjoyable

Thanks.

Lovely shot. The pink against the turquoise is very eye-catching.

Stunning image! For me it's the intensity of the colour which makes this shot.
