Rampart Range Fog
Sunrise Fog

Todd and I must have been driving circles around each other on Rampart Range Road Saturday AM. I would have loved to have had to time to reach some other areas, but it wasn't in the cards.

Sunbeams in the aspens

After this I had to descend back into the gloom and drive to Denver.

Hi Mel,

I really like the first and fourth ones, but then I'm partial to extreme lighting. Nice!

See, I knew afterwards that if I had stayed up there, the fog would've eventually settled in a little bit, and my favorite mountain would reveal itself. I just didn't have the patience to wait it out, and headed off of Rampart Range a bit before 7am. Glad to see you did, Mel. I've shot so many images of Pikes Peak above the clouds, it's nice to see someone else has! Those middle shots of the peak are nice.
