Saturday morning I hiked down Richland Creek to the confluence with Bobtail Creek. This shot was taken just below the confluence about one mile downstream of the low water bridge.
It was great to see everyone and Rod you are correct, we need to elect Bill head chef!

Here is a pano of the same area inspired by Bill Dark's pano last week. This is six vertical shots merged together in CS3.

Looks and sounds like I missed out on a good time and some great food. Nice shots Tom and it may be the best is yet to come.

I like both of these, Tom (the pano looks a little off-kilter, but that may be just the lay of the land). It was great to see you there, and thanks for bringing the little black box of wine!

Tom nice images you caught some nice colors in the trees and water. Sorry, I didn't make it up Friday as planned something pressing came up at the last minute. I passed you on hwy 123 on my way up. That was me that called you.

Gale, cell service was problematic in that area. After trying to call you several times, I kind of figured you may be in the area. I hope you got some good shots to post.
I did hike the King Bluff loop at Pedestal Rocks but the color was really not there either.

These are both really nice, Tom. I really like the green reflection on the first one - it seems to compliment and balance the dogwood in the UR.
It was good to see you again, and I appreciate the trail info. I'm going to try the one across the creek the next time we get a good rain.

Tim, good eyes on the pano, it does look off kilter! I must have been drinking the wine from the black box when I was working on this last night! See if this looks better?

Ah - MUCH better, Tom! I bet a big print of this would look great. (And, uh, what was the brand of that box of wine, anyway? It wasn't bad for boxed wine!)

The wine is actually called Black Box Wine. You can get it in cabernet and chardonnay. One 3 liter box is equal to 4 bottles! It is suppose to be a high end box wine if there is such a thing? Oh well it works well for long river trips, like the Grand Canyon. Check it out at www.blackboxwines.com
Tim, I just printed out the full version of the print at 15.5" x 75.5". It looks pretty good but I am not sure how I am going to display it?

Tom,
Great work! Maybe I should have sampled the black box!
75.5? That must be some printer.
