I'm still getting used to the colours on the D2X, i think part of it is due to the low and coloured light i'm shooting in. Does this look ok to everyone?

D2X and Sigma 500mm f4.5

Hi Paul,

Looks good to me , but then again I need to calibrate my new monitor ( something I've never done before , so a question to all will be posted shortly ) , nice image , the light is lovely.

Regards

Andy...

Cute shot Paul :toast: :toast:

It might be me, but I think a little CCW rotation is needed.

You don't really need to get used to the D2X colours - just add a levels adjustment layer and set your black, white and mid points

Wow all andrews or andy's :)

Andy B, I'll have a look i was trying to get the bird in the bottom 1/3.

Andy A, hmm the rotation, i tried doing that as i felt it was off, but it looked worse when i roated it.

Looks good to me... perhaps lose the circular highlights in the bg...

a hint for leveling here, use the measure tool, click on the eye, draw down to the same point in the reflection, then go to the rotate arbitrary dialogue the correct amt will be there for you..
