I'm very surprised and pleased. Thanks to the editors and to everyone who has taken the time to comment on images whether mine or someone elses. Those comments are extremely helpful. Also particular thanks to Catherine Reilly, Bill Fach and Nate Chappell who have gone out of their way to help me improve my skills.

Wow, what a surprise! Thanks to the editors and everyone who helps us develop through comments and the wonderful examples we see in the images in this community of generous photographers. NPN really is a learning experience. I have years of images stored, and this "pick" is one I shot just last week.
