Spent most of the weekend out shooting. We had a lot of wind all weekend and rain Saturday. Got out early enough on Sunday to shoot Sylvan Pond before the wind kicked up and the clouds moved in. I was please to see the moon hanging on the horizon when I arrived.
We had our first freeze last night, so I assume what's left of our color will progress quickly now. Still beautiful up here with some trees that still haven't even started turning.

Chuck, I went over to Sylvan closer to noon. It was at times great. Whenever the sun was out and the wind was down things got rather dramatic. You are right, this is a weird autumn. It will not peak, just a slow progression of one tree going after another. Nothing in sync.

These are both great shots, the reflections are wonderful, looks like your color is a little better than ours.
