Unfortunately, the National Anthem was the highlight from last night's game. A good time was had and folks seemed to accept the outcome pretty readily.
Having been raised a Cubs fan, this was most definitely a once in a lifetime thing!
While the Rockies were outplayed, they always seemed one hit away from busting out...........that's baseball.

Dave,
Thanks for the great picture of my son sitting in the Rockpile!
They could have let the Rockies win at least one game at home.
Cool shot Dave!! Glad you got to go. Must have been a blast despite the outcome!!

The Rox had a great run, I'll give 'em that. I have been an Indians fan my whole life, being from Cleveland the first 95% of my life, but 15 years is nothing to wait for a World Series. It would have been too easy to win the first one you get to. A true baseball fan needs some suffering to appreciate the rarity of a World Series appearance, let alone a victory. Nice image by the way. If the series was Rox v. Tribe I wonder how long it would have taken to see an 'Elway Sucks' sign at the Jake? Cleveland fans have long memories.

Very cool shot. I was fortunate enough to have tickets to all 4 home games back in 1991 when the Twins won the world series. The electric environment for any series game is just so much fun to experience. I don't doubt you had a good time!

Awesome shot! Makes one proud to be an American!!
Being born and raised in Boston, hence a Sox fan all my life, and recently buying my retirement home (albeit a few years early) in Estes, I really couldn't loose this series!! I was in Estes during the NCLS and had tickets for game 4. Needless to say there was no game 4, but I had made up a sign saying Anyone but the Yankees, Go Rockies! I'll keep it for NEXT year!!!
