I took a trip last Thursday to see the sunrise from the Ski Bowl location, and saw this.
Too bad the limit is 720 pixels so to see it you need a maginfying glass...

Edited: My ISP server, which is IPowerWeb, died, so the picture disappeared.
You can still see it at:

Looks great Cezar. Just enough haze to give it some atmospheric life. Also like the glow on the roof of the hut. It's a keeper.

> This is really nice. I like how you included the hut here. My only nit is the halo surrounding the mountain. Cheers!

I didn't include the hut. It was already there :). I couldn't manage to carry the hut up the slope..
Go to the Ski Bowl and hike up to the Warming Hut. It takes 20 minutes for a 50 yrs man or half as long for a younger guy...
I agree about the halo. It is not on the color version of the image, so it must have been created by one of the Channel Mixer layers during the bw conversion.

I love this shot. You really captured the feeling up there......the mountain always seems so close to you when you're at that hut, but that isn't always conveyed in photographs, as you have here.
Now you're really making me anxious for ski season

Cezar,
I have spent a few hours in the warming hut on ski outings. Once the winds were blowing 50mph and it was 5 degrees. I went inside and had a couple adult beverages and was ready to go. This is a really cool shot and one I haven't seen before. Nice work!

By the way.....what length lens did you use here?
