Has anybody ever been there and do you have any photos of the place. We're thinking about stopping by there or maybe working there a couple months.

Thanks

EB,

I have been by there a number of times but have never spent very much time in the preserve. I understand that as well as Moose it has a good sized population of bald eagles. Usually when I am that far north I am on the way to or from somewhere and don't usually have time to stop.

The wildlife in that part of maine is generally fairly diverse and well populated. The density of humans beings and roads is fairly low, there for th eanimals do rather well.

I was there for a day in June 2006, but it was a torrential downpour the whole time and I never got out of my car :( There are a good number of bald eagles and osprey. I wanted to get out around the ponds and fields but the weather did not like me that day..
