Not a great shot but a cool scene, I thought. The full moon was rising a bit after the sun had set and was racing the earth shadow into the sky.

Though it does look a little dark, it does portray the mood at the moment nicely. I would love to make it to this area sometime.

I think it is too dark and too green. When we were there, reds were more prominant and the earth shadow was way more bluish purple. The sky was pink.

Color seems a little off for me as well but I wasn't there... I'd go by Rick's comments. Awesome location that I also hope to visit someday.....

I can't see how I can go lighter with the mittens given that it was after sunset. The color was definitely off though.

My two cents worth, crop out a little less than the bottom quarter on the repost (making it more of a pano image).

That's better Mark. Much. Although your sentance sounds more like a photographer than an artist speaking. Would you imagine Ansel saying "I cant see how I can go B&W, given that it was a colorful scene"?
