From last Saturday at Olmstead Point, one of the most amazing color displays I have ever seen at Yosemite (or anywhere else) I think the fires down south might have had something to do with it.
Canon EOS 1Ds Mk2 / EF24-70mm @35mm / ISO100 f16 / tripod and -4ev NDG filter
Enjoy!

Way cool, Enrique!
I was on the Valley Floor and yes I thought the same, as it was "smazey" all day!
and then we also had the nice colors for sunset...the winds had shifted
and were blowing the smoke North along with the rain later that night.
Very nice grounded image.... and composition.

Hi Enrique,
A very striking compostion. The sky is awesome. I specially like the detail in the clouds in the upper left corner.
The big boulder in the foreground is a nice anchor but I feel its not standing out enough. Perhaps some localized contrast adjustments...what do you think?

The FG seems to bright, I think I would mask off the sky and dodge the FG.
