A couple of photos from yesterday at Rocky Mtn NP. A bit misty but great moody, atmospheric weather for shooting. Also I didn't know that Dippers ate fish!

These are all nice but that first one is outstanding, Bill. It just looks downright cold, too.

I agree, I really like that first one, Bill.

Really enjoy the Dream Lake shot. Has a very ominous feel to it. :toast:

I liked the variable light and the way it was lighting up the snow in the middle of the lake, with the mist swirling around. It was snowing gently all the time I was there too, although, FYI, the trail was usable with some wet snow. Interesting day.
Thanks for the comments,

Bill

Great stuff, man! Cool bird shot, too.

That first shot is way cool. Been there a few times in the fall, but never after the snow falls. Gotta fix that!

wonder if the top one would work well as a B&W?

Yeah, i think it would be worth trying B&W on that shot. I personally like the bird :toast:

I love that first one, looks like winter has arrived in our mountains. Time for me to get back up there....well once I get a few bucks saved up
