C1 v4 Mallard
20D, 300/4 +1.4, ISO400, 1/1600 @ f6.3, Low pod + 393, C1 v4 Beta 2 + CS3,

Hi,

I have always been a fan of Capture One but had avoided the Beta 4 version, thought I would give beta 2 a try despite feeling very dissapointed with Phase One over the time taken to get this far with a new version and the fact that they should have made available a release candidate at this time.

All that aside and the fact that I had to download this .net framework (whatever it is) and ended up upgrading to IE7 and lots of othr bits, I quite like it....

All the best

Phil

Fine shot Phil, love the low viewpoint and stillness. I was just thinking today that my local mallards are about ready for snapping now -for me ready equals when the tail has two good curls! I see yours has three curls so he must be more than ready!

Cracking image and PoV Phil :toast: :toast:

CapOne would be even nicer if it worked in Vista - since upgrading my machine I can't use it anymore :frown:

Hi Phil,
That's a rather fine image, just love the colours and detail here. Looks like C1v4B2 is working OK for you. Sadly beta 1 didn't like my AMD platform and I'm loathe to try again, so sticking to 3.7.7 for now.

Regards

the art of photography i am beginning to realize is in making simple things look beautiful. this image does just that and is a credit to your knowledge of processing as well as of taking a good one to start with. :toast:
