Hello,
Hopefully this weekend I can get out and shoot some midwestern color. In the meantime, I thought I'd share a few pics from my recent trip to AZ/UT. This is the Wave, in Coyote Buttes, it's so much fun to just wander around the place looking at all the lines and curves.
Thanks for looking!

Dena, it kind of looks like salt water taffy at the fair. Great shot.

Dena excellent comp. well done.
I really want to shoot this area sometime. Was the hike in difficult?

Great shot! I have one question though... why f/20?

Hi everyone,
Thanks for all the nice words!
Gale: The hike isn't bad, although I wouldn't want to do it in the summer. About a mile of it is through sand, but there's no scrambling and very little elevation gain, so it's very achievable.
Jason: f/20 was a total mistake. When I got there, I was waiting for the sun to rise enough to remove the shadows. There was a nice English gentleman with a p&s waiting also. He had a bunch of questions about America and was really more interested in that than photography. I was trying to answer his questions while using the good light and I didn't change the settings from the day before. Obviously I'm not a very good multi tasker! Oh well, at least it wasn't f/4
