GreenBrier last weekend!
This shot was taken last weekend at the workshop with Richard. Ideally I would have liked to have included more of the rock on the left and a little more on the right of the cascade, but there was a huge boulder on the right and I was shooting with the lens zoomed all the way out. If I would have moved back any further, the boulder on the right would have come into play. I probably could have waded out about knee deep and gotten a better shot but I believe this worked out pretty good. Thanks for any comments or suggestions. Have a great weekend!

Hey I know this spot!!  I think you've handled it pretty good, nice sun star as well.

The sunstar rocks with the rocks.

You're apologizing for this shot? I luv it.

Great water, a sun star, and a comp that is very evocative...the water is coming at me, and at the same time my eyes are drawn into the light beyond the darkness at the other end of the shot.

I hope we meet at one of Richard's future workshops.

Kevin,

This is super sweet! I remember seeing this on your camera's LCD and it looked good. This is even better. Great job.

You already know I like this from the copy you emailed me. Really good, creative use of the sunstar in an awesome river scene. Greenbrier was really the only river flowing well that week that provided me with any successful river shots. Well done and keep the images coming.
