The latest edition of Nature Photographers Online Magazine is now online!

This month's cover photo of a black wolf is provided by NPN member Steve Foss. It's not often that such close encounters with wolves happen in the wild, much less with such a magnificent specimen. Read Steve's full account of the encounter here.

NPN editor-in-chief Richard Bernabe has placed four new articles online that should be of interest to all;

Photographing Wild Water: Capturing The Essence and Beauty of Flowing Water by Joseph Rossbach

Working With Non-Profits by Carl Battreall

Photo Itinerary - Maine: From The Coast to Katahdin by Gary Melnysyn

Photo Itinerary - Vancouver Island, Canada by Glenn Bartley

We hope you enjoy this latest edition!

Congrats on the cover image Steve, and great story! It's nice to see a quality wild wolf image after seeing so many game farm photographs (a discussion in and of itself). Best regards.

Thanks, Joel. I have a few of those captive wolf images of my own, just so I'd be able to sell some if clients wanted wolves. But I'm not proud of them. This one I'm proud of, not because it is an outstanding image, but because it was outstanding to be that close to a wild wolf and be able to get the capture.

But, hey, enough about me and wolfie. All those contributors to this months mag did great work. I just finished reading them. Congrats to you all for the good work! :toast:
