Hi all

I recently reported some "issues" with Nikon's repair service (they didn't fix what I wanted to be fixed) here:

I thought I'd keep you posted. I can gladly report the solution of the problem now. I re-sent the camera and they fixed the remaining problems for free. So, in the end, everything's good. Well, not everything - I had to readjust the AF which was badly off, but other than that, things are fine.

How does one adust the autofocus? I shoot Canon, by the way, and one of my bodies is back-focusing a bit.

Hi Steve

It's described here for a Nikon D70-type camera (D100, D50, D70s etc. work identically):

I have no idea how your Canons work (the "better" Nikons, D200 and up, use a different system that can't be adjusted this way), but this method has worked very well for me. To be honest, I must tell you that some people believe that this method actually doesn't do any good and only messes up your focus system (these are often the same people that claim that focus problems are only due to poor AF targets).

Well, you'll have to try or not try yourself.
