Fleeting Cloud over Mt Bailey
On a trip down around Highway 138, Crater Lake area, this past May I found Crater Lake park closed (not really a surprise). As I turned around to walk back to my car, I saw this view, with a cloud moving fast towards the mountain. I had to run to the car, grab the camera, run toward the mountain to frame the shot, and just start firing. The cloud and the shadow it casts on the mountain really help give a sense of scale to everything.
I'd appreciate any comments on how I might make this better.

Chris,
It looks pretty good to me. What I like are the trees in the foreground. The lighting looks a bit harsh so maybe a little later or earlier for the sweet light. I also notice at the bottom and about 3 quarters from the left there is something that looks like a stump or something. I would clone that out.

Chris, decent enough mid day shot. I dont think there's anything more you can do with this to make it better. You handled the exposure very nicely.
