Saw this little guy while shooting at Camp Robinson WDA Saturday. Liked the look of him swimming through the fall color reflected in the Nursery Pond.

What a cute little grebe Dave! I'm glad you know what he is because my waterfoul identification skills are pretty weak.
The reflection seems a little flat on my monitor though. Maybe a boost in saturation?

Thanks, Bill! I love the grebes. They seem to be the "comics" of the waterfowl domain.
As to the photo appearing flat, I always seem to have this issue when uploading. Everything comes up a bit dull as to what I see on my monitor. I have calibrated my monitor so I don't think that's an issue so perhaps it's my prep for upload process. I'd love to hear how others get their photos ready for upload so I can compare what I'm doing to see if that's the problem.
