A deer wearing makeup?! He's got a nose borrowed from a polar bear as well. Nice capture.

Awesome capture Stu - great job
I think I'd have a stab at cloning out that big grass stalk though, and try to dumb down the OoF sky showing thru the BG. but it is a really nice image, well done

Nice Muntjac! I used to have those running about our garden when i lived in Herefordshire, usually with a Springer about 3 foot behind it... Good capture!

A very appealing image. I think if it were mine I might try to do some selective lifting of the shadow around the face.

Nice shot. I see what Andy's saying about the grass bit. Maybe worth a go
To me it looks like you may have selectively applied a shadow/highlight adjustment and then gone over it with a bit (too much IMHO) noise reduction.
Reason I say this is that the head and neck hair looks very soft and mushy compared to the shoulder area

Nice shot. Around here I invariably only ever see the rear view of these disappearing into the distance. The grass stem doesn't bother me but if you could tame the background a bit I think it would improve it.

Personally i don't mind the shadows, looks natural.
What did you do in PS to this one?
