I think this might be my favorite from the past three weeks.
It was a great weekend to be out - I hope everyone was able to get out and enjoy the color and cooler weather.

Nice one, Bill, very gentle on the eyes and peaceful, with an understated beauty. I think I recognize the spot on Richland Creek where this was taken, and I visited the same area Sunday morning, although I spent most of my time below those boulders.
Was that you I spotted at Steele Creek Saturday evening just west of the campground? I was the guy under the bluff a couple hundred yards upstream.

Thanks, Randy. I thought about going over to Steele Creek for some fog Sunday morning, but never got over there at all. I stayed at my new home away from home during late October and early November - Richland Creek. Man, it was tough leaving yesterday afternoon...

The fog was good at Roarke Bluff Saturday morning, almost too good maybe.
You just about couldn't pick a better place than Richland Creek for a home away from home, though. I'm thinking about burning a day of vacation this week to go back over while the color is still good.

Bill, very nice shot. The colors are very soothing. Glad you got out again, I am sure you have a good collection of winners.

Another beauty from the Natural State! What a wealth of color, form and texture and an absolutely perfect composition Bill. You sure must have a good camera ... right Tim E!
Randy, Looks like I just missed you. Saturday evening I was downstream of Steele Creek at Bee Bluff from 5:30 until dark, along with a silver haired lady with a European accent.
Just FYI - Wayne, I sent the new picture book for Grover out today, and for everyone who has one coming from being part of a workshop this fall, they will ship later this week when I get the time to pack them all up...

Hey Bruce, that's a beautiful place to be on a fall afternoon. Hope you got some good ones.

Bill nice image. Glad you had a chance to get out again while the color was good. I haven't had the chance yet.

Bill, I will just leave same comment I left in ESS.
Beautiful glow Bill, warm, and I like how the stream takes you back in into the warm autumn scene. Nice capture. And yes, and gorgeous place, Mark and I had a blast here. We hiked up Richland creek, and the day before, we hiked down Tim E's way, bushwacking all the way down to Twin Falls. Falls were not flowing (only one had any water), and we hiked back from there in complete darkness. Fun hike, rugged terrain, and yes, not for rookies. :)
And also, liked the second image posed in ESS too, nice reflection!

Thanks for all the nice comments on this photograph - I'm sure the memory of last Saturday morning will be with me for a very long time. For me, it just doesn't get much better...
