Kingfisher part II
This Kingfisher saw something fly over. I couldn't see what it was because I have limited vision in my hide. But she was alarmed for sure.

Lovely angle - looks like she's having a warm-up stretch before aerobics.

Technically spot on too :toast:

Superb clarity. Thinking about getting the same lens-the diagonal beak to tail works a treat :toast:

Very nice image, really like the composition with the tail going from one corner and the beak in the far top corner. :toast:

Hi Edwin,
As was previously noted you have a great diagonal composition going on here that works extremely well.

The diagonal straight through the image makes a strong composition. But, and I may be completely and utterly wrong here, with an animal I guess the eye is the focal point of the image and it's placement almost in the middle (of the image width) seems to stop my eye from moving around the picture. Cracking shot. Tristan

The noted composition is great, makes for a very strong image.....

A very interesting pose, and the background colour complements the kingfisher`s breast feathers nicely. Agree that the photo could do with a touch more contrast to give it a bit more punch.

Out of the ordinary pose is great. Ouch..... just cut myself, razor sharp or what! :toast:

Thanks everyone. I think it's a matter of taste but I'll add some more contrast the next time.
Thanks for being critical.
