Rock Art
We were waiting for the sun to move during the middle of the day but I thought I saw some graphic scenes that would work regardless of the sun. This whole little wall seemed to have one set piece after another.
This is pretty much as I saw it aside from darkening a few areas.

Mark,

95 views and no comments -- apparently your five day deodorant failed after only four days. The niche with the leaf shaped rock in it does a good job of anchoring the image. If this was a print on my wall I think I would be asking why I hung it, and yet I'd keep looking at it trying to decide why I like it or if I do; however, I'd keep it on the wall.

Regards, Simon

Mark,
I have viewed this a few times. I really think this would look good hanging on someones wall. It has good color that would coordinate well with someones interior. I agree with the lack of comments. I don't know whats going on but there seems to be a lull with folks giving comments. :frown:

I've turned down a couple of opportunities to go to this region and everytime you guys post images like this it's like rubbing salt in the wound.

The different shapes and textures are great in this. I initially thought it was a little heavy on the right side but couldn't come up with anything I liked better by cropping. Nice find!

I like the abstract and pieces and looking for something different when shooting but I am not really into this one too much Mark. I know it's not your style but I probably would like it more if it was more heavily saturated and a bump in contrast. Just my thoughts.

Mark,
Sorry, but your version is fairly lackluster. The whole scene overall doesn't work together. It's too literal to be an abstract...plus the light must have been fairly harsh when you shot this. Although the color was boring in mine, so that's why I played with it.
