Rene & I are finally back from our outing to Zion National Park and everything in between. Was a great week to be in Zion. The colors were fantastic! Hooked up with Art Escobado (on the Watchman bridge that never produced anything decent all week) and Jimmy Gekas out there. Colors were awesome all week long and started to die out towards the end of the week.

This image is an example of what we encountered all week long and was shot someplace near the end of the main road at the Temple of Sinawa stop.

Wow,

You guys really had a good Fall this year - from the San Juans to Zion. I guess you will have a lot of images to process thru the winter months. I really look forward to seeing them.

Now get Back to Work!!! LOL... :jump:

Rich, I must have been too late this year. I was down there on saturday and the colors looked horrible. I had a feeling they might turn a little early this year. Timing is everything!

That's really a pretty incredible shot, I think. Neat to see.

Nice colors Rich. Good meeting up with you and Rene. How was the Subway

The colors are nice indeed Rich!

It was cool running into fellow RMNPers out there, I had a blast in Zion, the Narrows were great and sooner or later the Watchman will give it up.

It's fast becoming my favorite place to visit! Zion just might become an annual trek for me for that time of year.

What a great online community to have and meet people with. Hope to meet more RMNPers out in the field if there are as gregarious, generous, and sociable as our moderators.
