Hard to think that two weeks ago these guys would have been trying to kill each other!
techs - Olympus E-1, E-zuiko 300 F2.8 plus 1.4 tc, iso 200, 1/320s at F5.6, tripod and W. Sidekick, full frame, processed in CS2, (no real processing required, the E-1 raw file colour is vivid enough straight out of the can, just resized and sharpened).
Great interaction between this two blokes. And I like colour of out of focus areas very much.
Cheers,
Marko

Hi Mike - great colors and a pleasing comp
I think I'd try cloning out the grass stalk bisecting the face of the beast lying down (what a rack that is ).
The only thing I find slightly off-putting is the sloping tree-line, but that's just me being picky

Hi Mike
Great colours; agree about the stalk but this is very minor.

Bit like schoolboys aren't they - fighting one minute and best of mates the next!
Nice colours and a good storyline too.

Mike,
Nice image - the grass stems in front of the face are a very very slight distraction. Like Gary I also wish I'd seen that but oh well theres always anotehr time

Mike, Great image, top draw shot. They don't get much better than this image.

They both look very pleased with themselves so they must have an enjoyable couple of weeks Great composition and really nice Autumn colours in the background too.

Nice, good depth of field for f5.6, colours are sweet!

Regards DoF - the Oly "half frame" sensor has the effect of increasing depth of field somewhere between 1 and 2 stops, so the zuiko 300 F2.8 lens is pretty well equivelent to a 600mm F4 to F5.6 lens whenshot wide open, but you gain those extra stops of aperture back for exposure speed. - one of the internet backseat critics most frequent moans about the Oly E system is the lack of a wide aperture portrait lens to rival the 80mm F1.2 lenses - oh and also the noisy sensors
