Hello everyone I just started a blog and my first post was on the CSNP fall gathering. I put several links for everyone that attended. Please take a look if you can and you can comment at the bottom. I am new to blogging and it is in the infancy stage. It is free to do and I thought some of you might be interested in your own blog.

Excellent job and great photos! Well done Gale.

Nice collection, Gale - I look forward to keeping up with your blog. Speaking of keeping up - does your blog have the option of producing an RSS feed? That would make it a lot easier to know when things have been added.

Gale, I really like your new photo blog. Your first photo of the colors in you autumn blog is really good, in fact I like it even better than the one you posted here recently.
I got your email and have set up an account.

Thanks for checking it out everyone. By the way I just posted some of my moose shots on the blog also if you can take a look.
Tom I'm glad you signed up. Hey it's free and we can share alot more photography that way. I was kind of hoping alot of the people on the forum would sign up and we could extend our group sharing some more.
Tim, Hey I found your blog also you have some really cool images from Philadelphia!
About the RSS feed I'm not sure let me check into that. How can you update others with RSS feeds?

RSS feeds are a nice way to keep people informed of changes on your web site. To consume the feed, all you need is a reader and subscription to a site. Microsoft Outlook 2007 has a reader built in, and that's the one I use when I'm at work.
My blog, hosted by Google, provides an automatic RSS feed (see the RSS link for the feed). Most blog providers do something like that - I was just hoping yours did as well.
Tim you are the man! This is very cool.
Thanks for turning me on to this.
Yes my blogs feed is http://galerainwater.wordpress.com/feed/
I have added a subscride button on the main sidebar (top left)
Now I just need to sign up for a reader and I can subscribe to your site. I found a neat little video to explain it at http://www.blip.tv/file/205570/
Now I have a question for you does this forum have a feed? If so please let me know.

Great! Your feed works. (I like your moose pics!) The video is hilarious! Like I say, I use Microsoft Outlook as my reader, but have been thinking about going with Google or some other online reader so it will be available from any Internet-connected computer I happen to be sitting in front of.
NPN/CSNP does not have a feed that I know of. They do have e-mail updates, but I never get these in a timely fashion and end up just checking the site frequently for updates. Does anyone else have a better way?
Great work, Gale! It seems I missed another great gathering in AR. I am enjoying my new home, and I have finally started to explore the area some, but the Ozarks are home, and I sure do miss 'em.

Great work Gale! I'm a blog virgin and plan on saving myself for just the right time! But I'm glad you're having fun with it. Keep up the good work!
