Last one.....honest
Probably my main keeper from monday's 800iso experimental outing

Although a small crop, it needed a bit of contrast work, and a healthy dose of noise ninja

Hopefully i can squeeze a reasonable A4 out of it!!!

D2h
400mm
1.6tc
800iso

I like this, feels as if you were there - up close and personal.

Lovely Alan, makes me feel guilty about leaving my D2h in a draw.

Great definition Alan. What's the point of having ISO800 if you can't use it.

A really great Purple Sandpiper shot, they are just lovely birds. The high contrast and exposure work together in harmony here.

Hi Alan,

Thanks for sharing a cracking image of a bird I've never seen. For me, would like a little more room on the left. Colours and exposure spot on.

Well done

Cracking shot. Rarely see these down here... then again, I can't always tell these waders apart  Great light, pose, depth of field, etc. :toast: :toast:
