Hey everyone,
I am new to NPN and want to introduce myself to everyone in the New England Chapter. A little bit about myself. I live in Naugatuck, CT. I am a full time police officer in Fairfield County and a member of the Coast Guard Reserves, so finding time to get out and take pictures is tough. I have been into nature photography for about 3 years. I like shooting all wildlife, macro and scenics. I am looking to get information on some different places to go in Connecticut. Most of my images seem to be birds but I want to expand my library of scenic and mammal photos. Thanks for reading this and I hope to hear from everyone.

Hi David!! Welcome to NPN where you'll get to learn alot. You're a busy guy!! I just took a look at your portfolio and I like your subjects. The "Morning Fog" is quite nice. Do you use a tripod? It seems several of your photos are a bit soft. That would help. I believe there are a few people here at NENP that live down your way. Have fun!!

Good morning David and welcome to NPN. There are a few of us from Connecticut and if you would like a list of those I know of and camera clubs in area, my favorite places to go, please email me. There is a great group of photographers in the state and I am on the Board of the Connecticut Association of Photographers. Another great group with well planned field trips. NENP also has field trips about twice a year, and a very enjoyable group to meet with. Look forward to hearing from you. Looks like you have some favorite spots that I would like to find!
