Today this image, which received an Editors Pick in June of this year, also received a first place at the Atlanta Fall Orchid Show & Sale.
The other good news was about my plants. I took four in to include in the Atlanta Society's exhibit. Got one blue (picture coming soon!) and two 2nd place ribbons. All in all - a great day!

A big Congratulations for an honor which is well deserved. Your orchid images are among the most elegant I've ever seen and your plants are not typically the ordinary varieties. Keep up the good work!

Congratulations Maureen! This is about as alien a looking thing as I have ever seen. (just kidding). I'm really glad to hear that your work is recognized elsewhere as well.
Heartfelt congratulations, Maureen! I always enjoy your photos; the orchid ones in particular are consistently compelling. Wonderful news about the Orchid Show awards, too! Way to go!

Congrats Maureen - but this is no surprize to me. Your orchid images (and your collection) are unique and you typically display their beauty with flair and your personal style. You go girl!
