I got attracted to this single tree with yellow/brown leafs with other big tree trunks. I am not sure about the composition. I could not avoid the dead branches from those trees, i am already standing on a near by rock. please let me know your valuable comments.

I like the composition a lot. the light is cool too though I'd be tempted to brighten the highlights a little more while leaving everything else as is.

Murali,
I really like the composition and the use of Dark Space.
Dark/heavy vs Light and airy...nice!!
I love how the small tree has a dark trunk....
The thin dead branches don't bother me cuz they are in the upper part...
and are balanced out by the ground....
...as every monitor is different....
all I can say is YES, make those leaves POP!
Well done.....

Murali,
This is outstanding! The composition is right-on and the leaves seem to be floating. I really like the 4 trunks and how they surround and frame the granite boulder. This lighting is wonderful - almost appears to be lit by studio lights. What is the source of light? Perhaps it's just the b&w conversion that makes it look that way. Speaking of b&w, the range of tones and contrast is excellent.
This is my kind of image and I love this.

Lon,
Thanks for the comments. Light is coming thru clouds, it was changing very quick as the clouds move, i took 3 shots and this one has the best light. After converting to bw, i burned the foreground and lower trunks a bit. Also cloned a bright spot at upper right edge. Here is the original in color after wb adj.
Thanks,
Murali

I agree that the B&W is better because it simplifies the scene.

Really nice! If I had to pick I think I'd go for the color version. I really like the earthy tones in that one. Welcome to CANP!

I think I prefer the color one on this image. The tree trunks really pop for me in the color version. You might consider doing a similar clone job on the color version.
Nice image.

thanks Harley and Cory,
Seems i have two options to draw viewer attention to
[1] in BW to leaves of the small tree
[2] in Color to the Big Tree trunks and leaves
